Are 2 Fluval 404s enough for a 125 gallon with the following stocking.

5x 7" poly
8" clown knife
8" pleco
11" black aro

I definitely would add some filtration in the near future. I'd bump that setup up with one eheim 2217 packed with ehfisubstrat pro, and an AC110.

I can't imagine that you would need any additional filtration on this tank. Each 404 has approx. the same output as a Rena XP3 and I have two on a well-stocked 150 gallon Dat tank. My water conditions are perfect.

yeah, iv never had an ammonia or nitrite prob (knock on wood) and i have a powerhead for some extra flow. but im a buff filter fan.

how is wyldfya wasting peoples money. For 120 bucks the 2217 is the best canister you can get. The AC110 is the best HOB filter for mechanical filtration.
