Here's a stocklist for my future 6 footer

-12" silver aro
-7"oscar, pleco
-8" peacock bass(havent got this guy yet..)

original plan was to go for a TSN but fellow MFKers suggested to skip it and go for a lima shovelnose... Well its ok at least lima is a catfish... Any other catfish i can keep instead of a lima for my 6 footer? I want a catfish that doesnt end up having a silver arowana tail hanging out of its mouth...

Thanks

lima cat, tig cat, gulper cat, any pleco, bumblebee cats, otocinclus, bagarius bagarius, banjo cats, raphael cats, whiptail cat, channalabes apus (eel cat), chaca chaca (monitor water pH), jaguar, juruense, ornate pim, jello band catfish, liver cat, porthole cat

good list but gulper will destroy the rest of his fish, pleco is pretty much all xcept for adonis, otos will get eaten, banjo is an oscars natural diet in the wild, the rest are either good choices or fish i don't know enough about

And I hope this isn't going to be the tank your fish will be in for life, as peacock bass and aro's need atleast a 300 IMO.

Assuming this "6 footer" is a 125, the only cats that would work in there would be bumblebee cats, otos, banjos, raphael, whiptail, channalabes apus, chaca chaca, jaguar, ornate pim, and portholes, all others grow too large.

Juruense will get too big for Your tank. Limas are fine however. And please skip the peacock bass or get a larger tank

go ornate pim, body style like a rtcxtsn but only 12-14 inches long. i love mine and hes barely 3 inches long. that or do giant bumblebee(jello) catfish. you could also do lima shovelnose, or jaguar cat, or even sun cats, bull heads are also an option
