suggested oscartankmates for a 151 x 61 x 64 cm tank

Hi

havent posted for approx 18 months as sold my tanks. getting a 151 x 61 x 64 cm tank on monday with an 8 inch oscar. i am looking for another cichlid/2 cichlids to add to the tank. all sugestions welcome please plus what size you think best to add to the tank. Tank has a fx5 filter

I'd get:

7 Clown Loaches
1 Scarlet Pleco
4 Honduran Red Points
3 Pictus Cats

You have something like a 150 gallon tank if I did my math right (sorry I'm an inches guy ) I'd go for something like this:

1.
Green Terror, Jack Dempsey, and a 6 clown loaches
2.
Jaguar Cichlid, silver dollars
3.
Texas Cichlid, Flag Tailed Barb, Synspillum

I'd hold off on the jag, but definately the others should work..

You could also consider a firemouth or severum.

I would do some vieja cichlid sysnphylum comes to mind or a large choclate with a big rhino pleco because you will never find a large scarlet pleco,
