suggestion for a 55 or 75?

So I just kind of ventured into this forum but I am a bit curious of these cichlids since I never see them anywhere. I have a currently empty 55 and i will be getting a 75 so I am pondering what to stock the tank with. Any suggestions? I am a complete nuub when it comes to these fish.

First check what pH, hardness etc water you have access to. You will need to do regular water changes right. African cichlids require a very different water chemistry compared to the new world cichlids for example. So your water may help you make a decision.

I am not sure which family of cichlid you are interested in, however have a look at what is out there on the Badmans web-site!
