I have had a coral tank for a couple of years now and just resently moved from a 55 to a 135gal setup. I currently have a yellow tang, foxface, naso tang and 2 clowns. I have frogspawn, big maxima clam, hammer and frogspawn corals, leathers, assort. mushrooms, Xenia's and a few other corals in my tank. The fish dont mess with the corals or each other, but I would like to add some more color to my tank fish wise and am open for suggestion.

They are 3 to 4". I always thought that yellow and purple tangs might fight. I have thought about adding a Blue Hippo and Sailfin Tang, a Lawnmower Blenny, a group of green Chromis for color and possibably a copperband butterfly (nice colors just dont want it to mess with my corals) and finish up the tank with that as far as fish. What do you think?

i have never had a issue with purle and yellow tangs fighting, but that has been in a big tank ,when you put few big tangs in smallish tank you will have issues your tangs are large i dont think i would add anymore tangs,go for some chromis

I think I will get a group of chromis. I never had issues with tangs in general, just going by what I heard. I think that was based on similar shape from what I gathered.

You should get some kind of fish that likes to be in a group or pair, like blue chromis( you have noted...will be great buy) which will follow each-other throughout the tank, fire fish and/or anthias

My green chromis are probably one of my favorite parts of my tank. I highly suggest

IMO your tanks not wide enuff for the Naso Tang or Blue Tangs - Atlantic or African. With that being said there are a ton of smaller tangs you could go with - Kole, Tomini, Powder Brown, Powder Blue, and The Purlpe to name a few. I've got 6 Tangs in my 210 - no reef issues and shoal like sea deer. With a clam in the tank I'd steer clear of adding any angel fish dwarf or other but you got room for other reef safe speices like some wrasses, basselts, jaw fish, dwarf hawks, gobies, blennies, etc.....you got options.
