ok. ive pretty much conquered the beginning snakes ive own a Ball Python and Corn Snake. its not All the beginning snakes but those two pretty much cover the rest... But now im ready to move up and now take care of something bigger.. So which snake would be the next step?

Bloods or Carpets - both are highly variable and even the most inexpensive individuals can have a unique look.

If you purchase a CB animal they can be as tame as any boa. Just give the babies a very think substrate to hide a bit and they ususally do not respond well to tease feeding. Once this is done and they settle in, they are great animals. I have had Bloods for over 16 years so I am a bit bias though.

ok. thanx for the info. what do u think of carpet jungle pythons
possibly one of the grumpiest snakes i have ever worked with.....but I think I'd rather take a bite froma carpet than my blood, she's gonna be scary when she's big lol

yeah carpets are a bit on the grumpy side. lol bloods are cool. seems like they do more fake strikes and they like to throw their body around.

what about a:
dumerils boa
brazilian rainbow boa
hog island boa
