I just got a nice settlement and as such will be getting back into keeping monster fish.
I plan on upgrading from my current two 250g's to something along the lines of 500 gallons.
I don't want anything that would outgrow the 250's just in case I had to separate fish at any point.
Price is only a minor issue, nothing much over $500 please
If it helps in the suggestions this is the route I'm leaning toward right now:
-Arowanas galore, maybe 7 silvers, a lei, a black, possibly a jardini (or two).
-A few Pbass, not HUGE fan so not too many, maybe 3-4 tops...suggestions on what kinds welcome, I'm thinking def an azul or two.
-1 or two red tailed giant gourami
- a few endlicheri's and hopefully at least one of them congicus.Also an ornate or two (3?).... don't care for many of the other bichirs.
-Tigrinous shovelnose cat, juruense cat, giraffe cat? Catfish are my favorite so suggestions on some cool/unique ones are very welcome.
-a few pleco ,scarlet and probably common. I know people say they get lazy but few of mine got lazy even past the 15" mark...best glass cleaners I ever had.
-Dithers or no? silver dollars? Tinfoil barbs?
Bare bottom, substrate only, or fully decorated?
