shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Hi, Im rather new to sw, and I was just wondering if anyone can make some suggestions for my 30g tank. My goal is to have alot of fish, and colorful fish, so nothing that gets too big.

Coral beauty is a drwarf angel and stays small along with some percula clowns stay relativly small and love to be in "schools"
A few bright aray of cleaner shrimp are available also
there are alot of bright fish with lots of colors that stay small!!
Do some research and look for a chart that tells what fish can go with what!!

percula clowns wont school in a 30 gallon, only fight...

some of MY suggestions would be
flameback angel
pretty much ANY flasher wrasse
cardinalfish
firefish
dartfish (again pretty much any kind)
many different spotted gobies or a yellow watchman,
clown gobies
there's several blennies that would do well

ive got a 29 gallon ,basically 30 ive got two clowns, sixline wrasse , a goby and a foxface in which yes i know a little crowded, but the foxface is going or for sale to anyone in northeast ohio!!, but yea dude 30 gallon is a fun take to mess around with

you reading my mind again Big, lol,

Anyways id like to add a few things to this, royal grammas are fish with great personalities. If you wanted to go with that schooling look then cheap chromis' work well id say no more then 4. Just keep in mind that this will reduce other fish you could have in the tank. Id stick with a max of 5 in the first 6-8 months of the tank, and then just a couple more after that period. This is only to allow the tank to stabilize. Saltwater usually does better when you keep your fish stock low for a while. This reduces strain on the already strained biological filter, and also prevents any fish to fish stress, which in turn may be avoiding disease outbreak.

Dude it determins what fish you want, personally i would go with a Dwarf Lion but that kinda limits your other choices.

that's what I think I am gonna do with my 29. just a dwarf lion and that's it. maybe a clarkii clown with it, but nothing too big really

Longnose Hawkfish! They are my favorite fish and make a great addition.

Scooter blennies (Make sure to buy copepods if its a new tank)

Jawfish (Make sure your tank is covered)

Most all gobies (Two Spot, Watchmen)

Countless inverts

Dont ask other people what you should get for your tank man, pick what you like!

I gotta say, its tough to do a 30-gal fish tank, IMO. they make a better nano-reef, cuz Its tough to put more than, say, 5 fish in there, even if they are really small. But here's an arrangement I think you might like:
Flame angel
2-3 bar gobies
percula clown (w/ anemone?)
algae blenny/ other blenny of comparable size
down the road: 4 or six line wrasse?
