Hello,
I have an empty 35 gallon tank that I was going to sell, but decided maybe I can get a reptile or amphibian for it.

It does hold water. The measurements are 36 inches long, 12 inches wide and 18 inches tall. It does have a canopy on it and it does hold water.

Let me know your thoughts and maybe I can find what you suggest in my area or try to order one somehow....

Thanks

Well, what are you interested in? There are a lot of options out there. Do you want a lizard, frog, snake? Do you want something you can hold or something for display only? Do you want to deal with live feeders or not? These are just a few of the questions you should ask yourself.

there are some cool beta breeds out there.. never messed with any myself but you can set it up with plants and could look very nice!

Got a betta in my 70.

I would like to have a snake, but the gf is afraid of them. I have had frogs and newts before so looking for something different. I like lizards....always thought of anoles as a child, but crickets are hard to get here and when you can get them, they are 15 cents a piece, sometimes more. Mealworms are normally available and at a decent price. I would prefer to be able to hold something, but I do not want to get somethign (yet) that gets too large since I do not know when I can get a larger tank for whatever I get.

Well Crested Geckos are a good choice for a reptile that is easy to take care of, you can handle, doesn't grow large and will eat a prepared food.

Leopard Geckos? Or maybe a Pueblan milk snake..she might like the colors

Nice and I wish I could find/obtain a rough green snake.. I love their color, and they are the only full green snake in NY.
