Hi. I'm converting my 125 to a tank for "mild-mannered, mid-size monsters." Say that really fast 3 or 4 times... I'm thinking peaceful cichlids, maybe some silver dollars, bala sharks, angels, nothing that gets huge (those go in my basement pond). Any ideas????????????????

BTW, Congrats Texas Fans!!!

I think geophagus of certain types would look great. Possibly some frontosas with some pictus cats too:)

How about some nice size clown loaches?

yup! african pike rocks!

get a fire eel also..:D

don't forget a nice knife fish- black ghosts are the most peaceful, and there are other types of "ghosts" out there, available. I love my tank with BG, fire eel, mango pleco, clown loach, and coming soon, Uaru's.

Oh, and an ornate polypterus, and a nice doradid catfish, or,

Actually, I have two dwarf giraffe cats that are great- they stay together, only get about 5 inches, and resemble the big gorgeous giraffe cats. Annther cat I really enjoyed ( for a long time! 10 years I had them) was a school of Zamora wood cats. They are not only cool, but really cheap!

Im getting some great suggestions here, except for the fact taht most of these fish arent available in Wichita, Kansas. I should have mentioned that. But at least it gives me an idea of what types of fish might work. Thanks!

:naughty:
