In the suture, i may be converting my 150 gallon freshwater amazon tank to a saltwater semi-aggressive pred tank. One inhabitant that will definitely be in there and which the selection of other species needs to revolve around is my 8 inch snowy grouper. I've had him since a 1 inch baby when i caught him last summer and i have grown very attached. I've tried giving him up 3 times and i coudn't bring myself to do it. So instead, i may get rid of my fw inhabitants and give him the 150.
Now, I was considering other inhabitants for him. I was considering a snowflake moray and a french angel, although these are debatable.
I was actually wondering if there is a species of shark, readily available and fairly inexpensive, that can live comfortably in a 150 gallon for life. I was searching for a chain dogfish, but because i'm having no luck finding any and i'm not sure if they can adapt to temps in the mid 70s or so, i'm looking at other possibilities. So any small sharks (catsharks i assume) that can get along with my grouper and a snowflake eel?

Thanks in advance for the help.

PS
I know people are going to tell me to get scott michael's book, so ill be one step ahead and say okay. :)

coral cats, or marbled cats... or any other catshark u can find that stays under 2 ft.

is it possible to get the eggs of most catsharks? I've heard it's better to hatch them yourself.
Also, do you think a snowflake moray and the grouper will be okay with the shark? I'm not too worried about my grouper, but what about the eel?
Thanks

bro snowy groupers get HUGE like most native groupers do. unless were thinking of seperate fish.

I'm not a bro. ;)

And yes, i know how big they get, as a lot of groupers do. However, it's only at 8 inches right now, but when the time comes and he outgrows my 150, accomodations will be made.
I also caught him, and since I'm in RI and he was a tropical stray, he would have died when the first frost came. At least I've given him a good home. :)
