Looking for suggestions on going the led route on a new tank build that will be 48x24x36tall. It is going to be a high-tech planted tank with co2 and fertz. Hoping to find something that will put me in the med to high light category to where I will be able to grow ground covers and keep them low. I know the height s the greatest challenge but I thought I'd see what you guys can help me with.

Personally, I'd look into the LED floodlights. I'll have 4 of the 20 watt ones over my 130. I have one on it right now and it puts a lot of light through 20" of water. I don't have a PAR meter to see exactly how much unfortunately. I think the 30 or 50 watt versions would do well for that depth though. And save you a ton on your electricity bill.
