Well im finally getting settled in in my new apartment and I pretty much got my (big) tank set back up! Its a fluval studio 600 that i scored on craigslist uber cheap. Im using the stock fluval 305 canister and an emperor 400 also. It has a glo t5 lamp with an ikea dioder led strip i put in for a night night
Im looking to create a very natural looking tank, I found an awesome looking peice of driftwood at my lfs and picked up a 50 pound bag of pool filter sand from leslies. and am probably gonna pick up the large topfin cave from a local petco to replace the smaller one my blood parrot really seems to enjoy. i really dont like the cheap looking cling on background tho any suggestions?
I currently have a small jack dempsey 4.5", electric yellowlab cichlid 3", Blood parrot 6" and i loach im not to sure what it exactly is but im gonna get a good picture of him and hopefully ID him and order 2or 3 more of his species. anyways heres a picture of what im working with and any suggestions would be welcomed! thanks guys!
