I am a bit excited to be honest. Tomorrow I am picking up a new (used) tank. Currently, I have 3 Dwarf Puffers and 2 Archers in a 29 brackish tank. The new tank is kind of an odd shape. It's the same footprint of the 29, but it's 30" tall :)

I've always wanted to do the less than full set up with some plants and wood partially below, partially above the water line. With only having a 29, I decided it's not worth trying to do anything other than a full tank. But, with all this height, I think I can finally do this. I am willing to spend some money to create a unique environment for my babies.

Finding plants that will thrive in brackish water is hard enough...but, how hard is it going to be to find plants compatible with brackish water...and partially submerged, partially exposed? I will want something "self supporting" versus floating. I think it will be fun watching the Archers do their thing with crickets.

I have some decent rock work and driftwood already. The plants are my main concern. Any and all advice will be appreciated!

Thanks :)
