I need some help here folks.
I need suggestions of brands who make GOOD, STURDY, NON-COLLAPSIBLE dog crates/kennels.

I had what I thought was a nice 4x2.5 galvanized WELDED cage...nope.
My 6 month GSD pup popped those welds and got her head stuck.
I even reinforced the corners with padlocks...she pulled out the metal around them!
I have to break her so I need to do this, I can't chance letting her keep these separation anxieties and destroy my house when I actually have to leave.

SO I would appreciate some suggestions on some serious product, nothing crappy.I know the next step is custom, but I just have a feeling that someone out there has a dog just as psycho/strong.

BTW, my cousins 2 pit bulls could only bend one little bar...but a 6 mo. GSD pup can bust out?
Oh, she is 62 lbs at 6 mos.

HELP!!

Built a wooden one.
You must not understand, as seeing this dog in action would be the only way to fully grasp this, without previous experience.

I could bloody weld one, but to go get tubing, and hunt down my redneck cousin for his welder...I'm trying to buy a prepared unit.

I did a little research, does anybody have any experience with the Pro Select brand, for large aggressive dogs?Their "Indestructible Empire" cages look sturdy. They better be for that kind of cake as well!

I bet if the post counts counted I'd have a lot more responses in here, thank lord for that little detail though!!

Correction...she is 9 months old.Apparently people like to either embellish or they forget a lot...still, this dog is a tank.

Build one out of cement then

just kidding, but like you said you wanted a prepared unit.

Went through the same thing with my wolf was a pup. I eventually took his last cage and wrapped wire down all the corners. He popped all the welds and bent it all up. The cage looks like heck, but he eventually stopped and now knows to go directly to his cage whenever I am leaving. I would just keep fixing your cage until your dog gets comfortable. No point in watching cage after cage get destroyed. Good Luck,

Gl. I had the same issue accept my dog broke them and then destroyed the house. I gave up anf bought a large steel cage for outside and put it in my basement

that one looks like a great cage.. just make sure it is the biggest one you can afford.. that is important too... and i know that you probably already do this.. but give her lots and lots of exercise.... she sounds like she really needs it..

You don't necessarily want the biggest cage available. From what I have heard and been told, you want a cage where the dog can stand comfortably and turn around in. If it's too big they will just use one side as a bathroom.
