I know we are all super enthusiastic DIYers here, but I agree with the other poster. What you are doing is risky, just because none of us are experts. Why not call a structural engineer and just get an estimate of what it would cost for him to do a real analysis? Compared to the cost of damaging your house, the expense is going to be minimal. I mean, we are willing to spend extra money to give our fish the best, why not take care of your house too? The engineer might actually come up with a way for you not to have those annoying jacks under your house too.
I reinforced the floor in my house for my 300g, but I am in a totally different situation than you are, I only had a 5 foot span of joists, so it was easy for me to do it with a large safety margin.
