Hey, I took down my hospital tank last year since I rarely buy fish anymore since I have my collection. I am going to be adding more fish to my collection and really really want my hospital tank up again, no way do I want to lose my fish to a "new" fish.
What I did in the past was just quarantine them for 30 days if they look healthy and eating after 30 days put them in the main tank. Well..
I was at my LFS and I couldn't help but to notice that A LOT of their fish had ich(white spot) then that got me thinking about medications to just be on the safe side, I don't buy fish from that store but that's beside the point..
Is there something I can treat with and follow a checklist of other things to do to double make sure they don't have anything that isn't visible?
id love to hear the "proper" way to do a quarantine/hospital tank.
