This is my first tank with corner overflows. Was wondering if I should block off the return holes and run a over the top return (have one already made)? Is their any advantages or disadvantage to doing this? Also if anyone has any pictures of how they plumbed theirs would be appreciated. Thanks

Should I build my own or go with this: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=12078 My returm pump is a mag 18 will my overflows handle this?

Do you already have the bulkheads? If so you can make your own durso drain pipe for about five bucks each. I made mine and they work perfect. If you aren't much of a diy type of guy then go ahead and purchase the kit.
I say make the dursos for the tank. No sense in having unsightly stuff in the tank that you don't have to.
