I love the look of the shovelnose cats. I am looking for something with their look, just not the 36" plus adult size. Do you guys have any suggestions? I would like something that will eat feeders. Thanks

Lima or tigrinus (can be big but grows slow). Everything else will be huge.

Tiger shovlenose And for feeder i would breed your own guppies...

You could get a Platystomatichthys sturio, max size: 14", or a Pimelodus ornatus, max size: 11".

Some info on Platystomatichthys sturio: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=319
Some info on Pimelodus ornatus: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=428

^^both of these will need about a 75 gallon tank.

A lima would get to about 18" (larger is possible though, without a doubt), and a tigrinus would get to around 20-24". A lima will need 125-180 gallons, a tig will need about 200 gallons or more.
