So,again I'm asking for your help. I have a 55gal with some fish in it, 5 tetra's,2 rams,13 platies. I am going to keep these fish until around febuary to get some drops of fry from the platies to sell to get some cash to get 1-3 more tanks. After I move these fish out I want to get a group of fish to breed, I am considering plecos and cichlids. I don't want any convicts. I need a fish of small value at least. I was consider Blue Ahli cichlids? Please suggest something.

Thanks in advance

I notice you picked Electric Blue. If you are leaning to African Cichlids . Electric Yellows are very prolific & easy to breed. They are always in demand & look incredible in an African tank because most Africans have blue coloration. If you are looking to breed plecos Busynose are your best bet. They are easy to breed & very popular because they max out at about 5". If you are serious about African Cichlids before you know it you will be looking foe a 6' tank. Good luck with your breeding project!

Try breeding red cherry shrimp. Easy to breed. Always a market for them. Or try raising aquarium plants. You'll make more money selling plants than fish.
