suggestions to put with silver aro

Anybody have some suggestions on what to put with my new 3-4" silver aro?

Datnoids, bichirs, stingrays <-- good tankmates with aro, you can even put them altogether.

small silvers are pretty fragile till they hit 6-8", no tankmates are suggested at this time till the silver gets larger.

With a 4" aro, not good advise at all.

Small aros are fragile and can easily be bullied by other fish. Best if you can keep it by itself for a few months. I have a 4" black aro which I have added some guppies to the tank. Figure he can eat the fry and eventually he'll probably get to eat the guppies.
