Hey guys, my Red Tail Golden Arowana jumped out while I was changing the water yesterday. I immediately wrapped it and carefully put it back into the tank but after every thing was set I noticed that my arowana's lower fin(the fin at the rear end of the stomach) has a ripped gap, then when I woke up this morning, more then half of the ripped fin was tore off(not sure why). My aro is looking fine and is eats normally, so I just want to ask what can I do for my aro so it can recover better, whether higher temperature would help or not and please give me other suggestion.

Thanks Matt

my uncle aro have had the same accident with you, most of the scales are even wear off.but then the skin and the fin grow just like before the accident without giving the fish heater or something.in my opinion, just give him nutitious food

Clean water, good food, and maybe even bumping up the temperature a few degrees. Should be okay, good luck!

Agree to them as well, my silver jump before and slammed his body on the concrete. Just give him good food and make sure the water parameters are fine :)

It'll heal back fine! Make sure the water is clean and maybe add some salt to prevent infections.

Thanks, now at least I have a goal to head to!
I fed it this morning and it was looking pretty well, I saw a line of limpid/new generated fin at the edge of the ripped part, Thank you guys for the advices.
