i have a 3-4inch dat,6 inch australian arowana,4-5inch pike,3-4inch rtc,3inch golden nugget pleco,and a blue lobster in a 55 gallon...the water temp is 80F the ph is 7.6...are these conditions fine for a dat ?

how big is the tank?

just seen 55 gal. i wouldn't mix a dat with those fish...the rtc, jar, and probably the pikes are gonna out grow that tank real soon. the jardini should start getting real aggressive in the next couple months. watch out

I wouldn't do it either...seems like snack food.

Also, by "Australian Arowana", are you referring to S. jardini or S. leichardti? The reason why I'm asking is because Jars can be nasty little bastards, where sometimes leis can be a little more tolerant of tank mates.

Ask ethnics about how his leichardti acts, he's had his for a while now.

you will soon need a larger tank i think the rtc is a real menace there since i think its the fastest growing fish of them all, and will snack on your dat, as regards water compostion its ok for a dat. i would follow the advise other fellow mfkers gave you and have a watchful eye on that tank.
