Found this stump in a wooded area behind my house. I think it looks pretty cool, but can I use this in my tank. Its' got some soft corky feeling sections, but other sections are pretty solid. I'm not concerned about stained water. So go or no go, and if go anything I should do first. Too big to boil. I am gonna hit it with a pressure washer though.

Its nice, but looks soft, and not a good soft. Like a pinch it with you fingers and it'll fall apart soft. Maybe get rid of the soft stuff and bake it in the sun, bleach it, soak it, and repeat.

I would set it out to dry in the sun then powerwash, or just powerwash now. Itll take off really soft spots, and then youll decide if you still like it
