The blue corner
Plec for 72" X 20" Tank required. Current occupiers are Green terror / Jack Dempsey / Pictus x 2 and Hoplo / Shovelnose cat soon to be added.

Can anybody suggest suitable plec. Something that grows fairly large and looks nice. I've been checking the gibbyceps out in the lfs but wanted your advice first. I can order a few Lnumbers into my area, so availabilty is not too much of a problem.

Many thanks in advance.

How big is the cat? That will help you determine which direction to go.

Its a tiger Shovelnose at 6", could be 2 or 3 times bigger than that within a year though.

The shovelnose just seems like it will get too big too fast and poss. make a meal out of a potentially expensive pleco.

Thanks for advice. I'll maybe shop around for a "grown out" specimen and then ask for advice before buying.
