The girly and I just bought ourselves a house. Bye, bye, apartment living - Hello, finished basement... or should I say; Hello, fish room!

New tank will be coming in the upcoming months. I plan on getting at least one Temensis for it.

The fish that would be its tankmates are: 1x Johanna Pike Cichlid (7"), 1x African Arowana (13"), 1x Black Arowana (8"), 1x Florida Gar (8"), 1x Marbled Pim Catfish (10"), 1x Fat Sleeper (Jade) Goby (7"), 2x American Tiger Datnoid (4" and 6"), and 4x Bichirs (2x Delhezi, 1x Ornate, 1x Endli. All various sizes under 7").

Do any of these seem problematic to you as Cichla tankmates? I already own the above fish.

Thanks!

Ive seen all of the above with cichla it all depends on the indevidual fish probly.

I keep some of those fish now with my tem and all is well, keep the tem well fed as he gets larger or he will look at the others as dinner. What size tank are you doing?

Might want to think about getting a tem. Tems are fast growers and might mistake your slower growing fish as food.

those should be fine. cichla are not usually aggressive towards other fish. if it cant fit in their mouth, youll be good :)

Depends on what I can find when the time comes. Something in the 400 gallon range.

As stated above, as long as it doesn't fit in the temensis mouth you're good to go! Another concern would be getting food to the less aggressive feeders.

bichirs and datnoids grow pretty slow don't they?
