i had one...and a lot of holes in my backyard haha! they arent hard to keep if you have a good amount of room for them to roam around. It maybe hard to keep them in PA unless you can keep them indoors during winter because they dont hibernate.

+1 feed them good green leafy vegetables and grass (timothy hay and such) basically food that has high fiber with low protein, avoid lettuce, fruits should only be used as treats.
They are extremely susectible to parasites and must be kept in an cage until a few years old. They need a uv light and a good soak once a day because normally they live in humid holes in the ground. Do a google search, there are some great sites. The last babies I saw were $200/ea. so your gonna wanna do it right. Specially since they live 90+ years if cared for properly!
just saw them for 70 bucks. I like them but not sure cause of life span. And figure will take a bit of room. Oh well planning a large caiman enclosure then a large tank (nearly 5400gallons, and only maybe) so why not another large build. lol
