I live outside town and I do not have city water. All I have is a well. Can I use sulfur water for my tanks? My feeder fish all live in it fine but I hate to risk my large catfish if it isn't going to be healthy for them.

Do you use aeration of the well water for your own use?

Have you had the water tested for any other chemicals?

Must not be anywhere's as bad as what we have here then.

Any iron content? (rusty stains in the sink/tub)

Make an aging tank outside and use a showerhead on the end of the hose to fill it, then put and airstone in it to aerate it for a day or two.

You can get whole house two stage filters from HomeDepot or Lowes relatively cheap to filter out most things too.
