is the brackish sumatra fern nontoxic and safe for monos, datnoids, nandus and archrfish?

sumatra fern is the only common name i know of but it looks simaler to watersprite its scientific name is ceratopteris thalictroides is it safe for fish if they ingest it or is it toxic like java fern?

It's safe, I know it as Indian fern.

Then again, since when was Java fern toxic? I've seen silver dollars eat loads of it and suffer no health concerns, and my Buenos Aires tetras nibble at it all the time.
