sumatra tiger datnoid?

the lfs has a dat about 3" and has it labeld as a sumatra tiger datnoid from what i can see on the profiles it is and IT is that another name for them or what is it? i have been thinking of getting a dat and i like the looks of this fish. they want $90 for it is that a fair price im in vancouver canada

It is most likely an indo with a fancy trade name and that is an outrageous price to pay for a little one.

Yeah, and whether it came from Sumatra or not,it is still an indo as the other member pointed out.I'm not aware that dats from that area look very much different from indos collected elsewhere but I suspect that the name was used to bolster the price tag.

usually $10 an inch round these parts
