For anyone who built or has a big acrylic sump, or if your a acrylic tank builder.
Here is my question. If i make a sump capable of holding 150 gallons but the most it should fill up with water at anyone time is probably 75 gallon or less. Can i use a thinner acrylic than 3/8. Rough sump measurments would be 56"L X 25"W X 18"T (or whatever the height of the 75 gallon sump i have in there now is).
When the power goes off i have never overflown the 75 gal sump.
