Sump Air Questions

If I have a sump with air stone in it do I still need air stones in main tank?

no, plus you shouldnt need any airstones in a sump as the movement from the overflow and through the filter should aggitate the surface enough to give excellent oxygen levels.
if your sump is bubbling like mine as water rushes into the first chamber and you have chambers where the water falls over the dividers at least once this should negate the need for air pumps.

So your saying I wont need them in tank as I think its a much cleaner look

You simply dont need air stones at all with a sump. If you want them because you want them, go ahead.
