Just looking for some advice on sumps and overflows. I am looking to add a sump to my 7 x 3 tank - I have always used cannisters and have no knowledge of sumps. Planning to get a 36 x 24 sump to replace some of the canisters.
Just wondering how noicy are the overflows? and any tips you can give me to design them.
I was thinking maybe to add external weir boxes, anyone got any exp with them?, do the water levels stay same within the tank and the external box?
