First of even after reading all the posts and being showed how to put it all together it's still like rocket science to me.

I know i neen a sump and some 1'' hosing i have a 20 gallon rubbermaid bucket and a 33 gallon all glass aquarium thats been used as an atrium that im not even sure holds water anymore.

my questions mostly related to overflow and how to place my piping and if its neccacary to drill holes do i need to make a couple of small panels on the inside of the tank.

Can i use simply the piping running from the sump to the tank ive built many wood items so building the tank was fairly easy its a 90 gallon should i try to use the 33 or the 20 i also have a 10 gallon aquarium thats all glass that i dont use for anything.

These thing's just look like a bunch of duhickys to me i dont even know exatly wher to put them.

I don't want to start drilling holes and stuff like that until im sure what im doing.

you just drill the holes for the bulk heads at the level you want your water to be at. i would just reseal the 30 if you dont think it holds water

I know you drill holes for the bulkheads as for water level i don't know anything about that and how to work a water intake and return for all this.

I went to an aquarium store that carrys plumbed with sump and fittings showed me how to put some of the piping together and gave me all the piping i should need complete with overflow dosnt work quite like the ones ive seen on here.

ive spoke with this person several times and he seems to be an expert so i have to try to make it work with what i now have.

Nope just plumbing.

does the pvc overflow connect to anything dont get that they just gave me som 1 1/2 '' pipes for that 1'' pipes for my intake i know the intake and how to connect to the pipe for the pump but confused about outtake with what i can figure out it would just run the extra water from the sump over the top of the tank onto the floor.

they equipped with a piece for a drain but cant quite figure it out i seem to be missing something fairly simple.

I got it now my stepdad the ex plumber showed me what i was missing with what the aquarium guy rigged up for me.

i was simply looking at the drain upside down and it is the overflow.
