I am intrigued by the notion of keeping a "sump crew".
I have a 350 gal Ray tank that is filtered by a 150 gal sump. The sump contains everthing commonly found in a sump plus a flourescent fixture on a timer used for the plants growing in the sump. This added light plus the nutrients in the sump (naturally) have led to extra growths of algae and detritus accumulating.
What species of shrimp (FW) would you recommend for the sump to act as a clean-up crew?
How about crayfish?
Dithers?
Respectfully, FireMedic.
*I do not/am not/will not entertain any snails*
