*! Sump Design Question !*

I was playing around with some ideas and I came up with this design after some research and reading (the first picture). I'm concerned with how adequate the water entering the fuge will mix rather then flow on the surface and exit the fuge. so I came up with the second idea for the sump - adding a third baffle. Any input, experience, critique, tips, tricks would be greatly appreciated!

You could add that to ensure the water enters the lower part of the tank, you could also just add a powerhead to keep water circulating as well.
