Sump filters and overflow box

I might be getting a getting a deal on a 200gal.I want a sump system but I dont thinks it drilled.So Im looking at getting a overflow box.I was wondering if I can still keep the tank completely sealed with overflow box on the back the tank? I plan to keep a few eels and I dont want them jumping out.My sump will be rated for 300gals aswell as the overflow box.

MY current 135 is sealed completely I have 2 canisters.

Yep. Siphon overflow. Well... at least the opening at the top would be too small for an eel to skidaddle out of.
