hey guys, just looking for some ideas here ... trying to save some money, and was trying to find an alternative to buying a 100-150 gallon sump from my LFS.... i know its going to cost a fortune.... i have a 40 gallon, 3 compartment sump, and my goal is to have this slightly modified to basically serve as my mechanical and biological filtration... the only thing i would then need to do is fit this inside of a large 100-150 gallon tub, and since i'm doing a submersible pump, there will be no need to drill holes in this tub or anything.... optimally the container should be no wider or taller than 18 inches, in order for it to fit under my aquarium, length can be 6-8 feet no problem, but if its easier to have the sump next to the tank thats ok too... anyone have any ideas on where to get a cheap 100-150 gallon, long container that can serve this purpose? thanks

i was looking at stock tanks, and they could work, but they would not fit under the tank, which isnt the end of the world, i would just prefer it underneath... and i think making one out of glass would be much more costly than what i'm looking to do... just figured somebody out there had this same situation, and found a solution.... thanks for the help, and if anyone has a solution let me know please ... thanks
