Hey guys. I recently purchased an All Glass Aquarium with the predrilled twin overflows and I have the two overflow kits that Aqueon/AGA make installed on it.

I was thinking about a 55 or 75 gallon sump. Would this be sufficient?

What is the best sump to use with this model tank? I want to make the plumbing as easy as possible and I thought the Model 4 Megaflow Sump wet/dry would be good since it is the same brand and has the two hookups for the sump.

If I got one that has one hookup, can I hook both overflows onto it?

So confusing!

I have the same tank. I am using a 35 gallon sump with a mag18. It handles a heavy stock just fine. I would go with a 40-55 gallon diy sump to save some cash.

Thanks so much! Which brand are you using?

I ask because I am looking to have one sump, just like you, and I want to run both overflows to it. I am confused on how to pipe the bottom section.

It was a custom made sump. Just a standard looking wet/dry. I used the vacuum looking hose as the drains. What I did was cut glued a 3 inch piece of 1 inch pvc to the bulkhead. Then clamped the vacuum hose to the pvc and the other end went to the drip plat part of my sump. With the returns I just used a T splitter from the mag 18 and hooked up vinyl hosing to the returns. Give me your email I can send some pics if that will help.
