This sump is coming on a 4' x 18" x 20" H reef and the return pump is rated at 2000l/hr and pushes that amount up 1.2meters had enough pressure to run a chiller as well.

if you are running a reef you should not have any bio media. The bio media will out compete the liverock and produce to much nitrate that will lead to algea problems. I would use the first section as refuge.
a fuge with a DEEP sand bed, like 6+'' if you can. that'll convert alot of the nitrate your rock makes and will ease the maintainece schedule. with a 90 that's not a bad thing
