So, I'm a lil worried about my sump. The intake side is quite high.

What I want to do is find something i can put in to help the water level of the first chamber be lower, and have he 2nd chamber where the heater is higher.
Right now the first chamber is a little higher than the 2nd chamber and with the amount of flow, i am a little worried about the first chamber over flowing. The egg crating hold up the filter floss ( or whatever you call it) can be removed, but it won't make a difference. I just want the water level of the first chamber lower and the 2nd chamber the same.

Reduce the height of this baffle.

Is the only option to reduce the height of the baffle? I don't have much time to do that right now, cause of exams but luckily there is no fish in the tank.
Is there any other possible answers?
I can live with the height. And it seems when i stop the pump, water level drops a bit more than normal o.0.
after the pump stopped, the water level in the pump chamber went to the same height as the other 2 chambers before it.......I think the water that was being pump up, went back down and kinda started the pump to suck a lil water into the sump =/ <- is that even possible?
