sump help

I want to run 4 4ft tanks on a sump setup, what media do u put in the sump, what pump would i need to pump the water back to the tank.

can u send me an email with pics, plans or setups that u have got to give me an idea on how they are setup, what gose in them, an average price of what it would cost. what are proton skimmers do i need one

this setup will be for freshwater, planted aquarium with live breeders in the tanks.

what else do i need, what size should the sump be. anything helpful about sumps. this is my first sump.

lol, im wanting to build a sump to for a saltwater tank, its my first sump build tobut no one will help me just wondering if you ever found out how to build one

I am also building a sump for my 80g freshwater tank. I am thinking of using an old 50g that I have lying around and I was going to put pot scrubbers in the tank for a wet/dry filter. On the bottom will be the pump with eggcrate on top of it. The pot scrubbers are on top of it and on top of them is another layer of eggcrate (pot scrubbers in an eggcrate sandwich). I'll put a layer of fleece on top of that to catch the larger stuff. I will probably make a couple of spray bars to be connected to a y-tube from the overflow on top. I hope that makes sense and I hope it works. I haven't decided on what size of pump yet but as long as it is big enough I can always put a valve on the output side of it (so the filter doesn't overflow).
