Hello I have a few questions that I have not been able to find the answers to anywhere.
Here is the set up I have a 120 gallon tank. That mesures (LxWxH 48" x 16 x 22.5") that I bought used. I plan on keeping oscars. I also have A 30 tank (LxWxH 36" x 12.5" x 17") gallon sump, that I am setting up.
Questions:
1. I plan on doing a corner overflow but how big dose it have to be I was thinking 10 inches long by 22.5 inches high with 1 inch teeth.
2. Since the tank is used and I do not know what kind of glass is in the bottom. I want to drill the side of the tank. Where should I drill the hole? Near the bottom or near the top more.
3. What size of hole should I drill? I was thinking 1.5 inches.
4. What size of bulk heads do I need?
5. What size of plumping do I need?
6. I am thinking of a 600 gph pump will that be enough?
7. What thickness of glass do I need to use in the sump, for dividers?
