Need to get an overflow and return pump for a 55 gallon sump thats going to be filled with XL ceramic rings i bought from Charlie. Money isnt a huge issue, I want something that is going to be pretty quiet and last me at least 5 years. Any recommendations? This sump is going to be put on my 240 along with 2x fx5s that are already on there.

Look into the reeflo line. I am super impressed with my hammerhead gold, but you won't need something that size.
do want an external or internal pump? as for submerged pumps: magdrives and quietones are probably the best. my magdrive is completely silent. overflows? CPR overlflows are the best IME if your not going to drill the tank.
oh and try to buy online, luckys and trop jack up the prices on their pumps like crazy!! and stay away from via aqua, my last via aqua pump was loud as heck
