I want to put plants in my sump to help water quality. So the sump is a 29
36x12x16 gallon with one divider 16 inches in the middle length wise. 16x11x12 is filled with bioballs by the way is there a way to calculate how much that is. Ok so the thing i am worried about is debris getting into the pump and clogging it and what about if there is a power outage and the water level would exceed the sump since it would have to be higher for the plants. The debris could be fixed by putting a screen dividng the pump from the plants but if anyone else has a better idea im open to any suggestions.
