I'm getting a 6foot tank I'm either going to use as a grow out tank or a a wet pet tank, but it comes with a 3foot sump that I'm going to upgrade to a 4 foot and leave a big chamber open to keep some fry or plants. Looking for some ideas ?

Sounds like you've already got the ideas! Anything specific you were looking for? Only thing I would suggest is go even bigger than 4' if you can fit it.
i don't think il be able to go bigger than 4 foot, maybe some guys on the forum have some pics of there sumps that have housed fry or plants before and they could share it with me ?
