Sump in/out lines...

I am setting up a 180g tank I purchased off CL. It came with a 30g sump... my question is the bulkheads that came with it are made to use with hoses not pipe. Should I use host or use hard plumbing?

I use hose in my 2 tanks (90g Mbuna/100g CA), although you can problem hard plumb it if you wanted, although I wouldn't glue anything in case you need to change/replace anything.

i use vinyl hoses on all my sumps.
