My sump arrived last weekend.
I'm planning to use Matala mat, maybe some japanese mat and scrubbies.
Will matala mats be good in the 1st chamber if i don't buy jap mats?
i have lots of scrubbies. my sump is 6 x 2 ft x 18 inches, but it only have 4 chambers the last chamber is half the size of the sump .
can i put media in this chamber as well? or is there a reason why the last chamber is always left bare?
also for the 1st chamber would matala mats be good enough?
