HI i was wondering if its a good idea to put some plants in the sump would this help at all, as well as Bio balls and foam.

well do the plants need light to grow

skip the light, set mushrooms.

or get creative with the plumbing and put the sump in the windowsill. Do this without permission from the wife and see how it goes:

i too want plants in my sump. What kind of plants do you use? I assume some short potted plant would work best
