I have a 360 gallon tank, my sump is about 40 gallons. I want to replace the pumps. I'd like to use two pumps, submersible since that's how my sump is already setup, and get 3000-4000 gph. The closer to 4 the better. Any suggestions?

I have one of these in my 200 gallon tank. Buy two and these lasted me 7 years+.

Amazing pumps no joke. My sump is a 40 gallon as well. Its perfect setup for my tank if you have two you might have a very strong current and you can put a valve on this connecting the return and slow it down if you need to.

Its better if your pump lets more time in the water with the media. Its not always the faster pump will perform better.

Good luck and you can check out their more powerful pumps as well.

Thank you! This seems like plenty of power.

I run dual Laguna Max-Flo 2400's. Very popular choice on MFK.

Very nice you have pictures of your sump setup?

2 220 shipped its pretty expensive compared to my 150 shipped and they have the same 2400gph. I literally have like 4-5 of these just sitting around from old pond use and what not.

I know for a fact the one I posted is reliable and used frequently in the pond scene.

I want to see your setup because my sump wouldn't even house that pump. Mine fits perfectly but this seems more wide. I have an acrylic sump made for a reef setup but same thing for a freshwater tank.
